One of my new followers is part of "Embrace your Body week" And my personal thought is... What a wonderful way to empower us women to think positive about ourselves.As a new generation mom things like taking a little time to myself are not easy to come by. I find myself always running around for the kids.
Today I think of myself and not the negative stuff like that since being told that I have Hypothroidism my weight has been jumping back and forth by 35lbs or so, NOT fun, I have two different closets small and large!!! Having carried two kids as most mom's there is the love handle issue, and the less then perky breasts!
Today I will concentrate on the things that I like about myself, and just maybe I'll take the time to go pamper myself?!
1- I love my eyes!!! Being born with parents of brown and blue eyes I ended up with green eyes that reflect all sorts of different colors. (gray, blue, gold)
2-I love that I have natural highlights in my hair. I guess that comes from my Dutch heritage.
That's about it! I will focus on those for today, and smile!
